Last December Tufenkian's Los Angeles Showroom opened it's doors in support of Falling Whistles & Human Rights Day in LA. Angeleno magazine covered the event:

A Human Rigs Day celebration to benefit Falling Whistles, an LA-based nonprofit organization working toward peace in D.R. Congo. Tufenkian’s Melrose Ave showroom, was transformed by Gather Events & Occasions into an experiential space filled with a pop-up photo studio, a screening room showing “Peace is the New Frontier” and “Collective Rights”, a human rights awareness statement. A silent auction gallery run by Presence Entertainment with gifts from John Varvatos, The Four Seasons, Ted Baker & Catherine Malandrino. Bands Hell & Lula and Nico Vega along with DJ Syrena rocked their support for Falling Whistles and Human Rights. fallingwhistles.com
