At this November’s Portland-area ASID meeting, Tufenkian’s in-house experts will be providing a seminar on how to look at carpeting with authority and insight. Learning about the process of carpet-making and how various common carding, dying, weaving, knotting, and washing methods determine a rug’s final aesthetic, durability, and quality, designers will leave this month’s meeting with a better understanding of what makes a fine carpet, what makes an inferior one, and how to avoid making expensive mistakes.
