Congratulations to Tufenkian friend and partner, Vicente Wolf, for launching his first collection with the classic tile company, Ann Sacks. Wolf joins other Tufenkian collaborators such as Barbara Barry, Clodagh and Laura Kirar, in the company’s Designer Collection, resembling Tufenkian’s own exclusive Designers’ Reserve collection.
Tufenkian’s Designers’ Reserve Collection represents the intersection of our masterful, handmade artistry and the latest creative vision of today’s premier designers.
Tufenkian’s Cirque Algae, from the Modern Three collection, was included in the editorial piece titled “In Transition” for the April/May issue of Design NJ. The piece included a sampling of rugs that are “a little bit transitional, a little bit contemporary.”
In Transition: A little bit traditional, a little bit contemporary, transitional rugs put a new world of design under your feet. Larger, looser patterns how up in colors ranging from subtle to eye-poppingly bright.
Tufenkian’s Harvest Moon Coal, Modern Two collection, was included in House Beautiful’s monthly “Rugs” feature by senior editor, Orli Ben Dor. April’s inspiration: Mosaic. “Harvest Moon evokes a still night – serene and beautiful”

What Goes with Pink by Kiera Coffee. House Beautiful asked Interior Designer Campion Platt his thoughts on the power of pink. He used Tufenkian’s Flower Power Pixie as an example: “The grayed-down pinks and the calm green of my rug are visually stimulating with-out being aggressive. They almost melt together.”
Picture Perfect by Jesse Bratter: Mother son team, June D and Scott Louis Brown of J.S. Brown Design, use Tufenkian’s Tempo Apricot in their Bend, Oregon Great Room, overlooking the Cascade Mountains.
Light Footprint by Patricia Leigh Brown: Designers from Wilson Associates use two of Vicente Wolf’s Here & There Riverbed in LEED Platinum certified San Antonio retreat. Wanting an atypical southwestern design, the living/dining room pairs the two mirroring Tufenkian designs with soft velvets, watery colors and Robert Mapplethorpe’s 1988 Calla Lily.
