A bordered Shakti Weave rug in beige. This hand knotted area rug is made with wool and linen, a beautiful border design that is simple yet elegant. The Linen Natural rug was woven using our Shakti weave in Nepal and imported to the USA by Tufenkian. The field of this rug is light beige linen with texture created in the monochromatic color by slight light and dark variations in the fiber and has a thin warm beige border in wool. Linen has a silky look compared to wool and is one of the few natural fibers other than wool that we've included in some of our rugs. The quiet nature of this rug makes it a perfect addition to draw out the inherent nature of any design. Inventory in the USA is ready for shipment.

Our extremely handmade rugs may be of a slightly different size (up to 3 inches). This is due to the beautiful hand-knotted and hand-tufted nature of our rugs.
Vacuum regularly. Loose threads should be trimmed with a scissor (do not pull!). Rug protectors are recommended. If your new rug is exposed to the sun, it is a good idea to rotate regularly to prevent uneven wear. Blot spills with a clean towel (white is best). Cleaning the entire rug should be handled by a professional rug cleaning service.
